Kurulus Osman Season 5 Review:
After 16 or 18 years of the Berke-Hulagu war. however, Ertuğrul Gazi goes to Konya and he leaves his brother, Dündar Bey, in charge of his tribe. Dündar Bey easily handle in grip by others into doing their misfortunes. He fell into the trap of the cunning Selçuk Sançak Bey (Alişar) and the ruthless Kulukahisar Princess Sofia (Sofia), who wanted to kill all Turks. Dundar’s nephew Osman saw through Alişar and Sofia’s plan and warned him, but he refused to listen. As their relationship with the Kayyas became increasingly strained. Meanwhile Gehatu Komutan (commander of Mongol) sent Balgai to cause further trouble and prevent the Kayi obasi (Kayi tribe). especially Osman, from revolting against the Mongols.
Dundar, who bowed to the Mongols and became Sançak Bey. could not realize that Alişar was angry about receiving his position, but believed him when Alişar accused Osman of murdering his son.
Soon after, under the threat of Kulukahisar, the truth was revealed to Dundar, and Alişar was beheaded by Osman, who married his lover Bara.
Subsequently, after many difficulties, Balgai was killed by Osman, probably, while Kulukahisar was conquered by the Kayyas and Sofia died.
